Who we are
BLUHOUSE Studios is a Nigerian Film and Television production company tasked with
the production of visual content ranging from Film, Music Videos and Commercials. The studio was founded by Blessing Uzzi, who serves as both a Producer and Director in the Company.
Established in 2021 and incorporated November 2022, BLUHOUSE Studios is one of Africa’s driving visual organizations. We trust that the best way to tell a story is to tell it visually and we work with the best creatives in Africa to achieve this.
Bluhouse Studios has acted as a production company for music videos featuring artists such as Davido, Cobhams, Broda Shaggi, Zlatan, Davido, Chike, Waje, among others. We have also collaborated with brands like 1xbet, Bet9ja, Infinix, Tecno, Bigi, and more.
With two (2) feature films set to be released soon(2024) on streaming platforms, 3 short films, and multiple experiences in both film, music and commercial space, Bluhouse Studios continues to tell stories that not only impact Africa but stories we hope would resonate Globally.
Blessing Uzzi, Founder
Blessing Uzzi is a filmmaker-writer, producer, and director - with a background in international relations. She graduated with first-class honors from Eastern Mediterranean University,
North Cyprus, before returning to Nigeria to pursue her passion for storytelling through film.
She has directed and produced numerous short and feature films, including No Man’s Land, which she wrote, produced, and directed. Her latest film, Freedom Way, a gripping exploration of police brutality in Nigeria, had its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Blessing Uzzi is also the founder of Bluhouse Studios, a Lagos-based production company committed to crafting impactful and thought-provoking stories.
